Current technology use in the district includes both regular, scheduled use of technology as well as other varied usages. Examples of consistent, regular, scheduled use includes the following:
- Scheduled blocks in the computer labs for all classes at each of the district's four elementary schools using the Compass Learning Curriculum. Most schedules incorporate weekly 40 minute time periods
- Use of computer labs at Cotton Belt, Hunter Street and Hickory Grove/Sharon Elementary schools as a tool for academic remediation for 150 students in after school programs offered 4 days weekly
All 750 students at Harold C. Johnson Middle School are enrolled in one, 9 week
