The YCHS Media Center serves approximately 1060 students in grades 10, 11, and 12.
The Media Center is used by the academic school and the adjacent Floyd D. Johnson Technology Center.
There are over 13,000 books available in the YCHS Media Center.

MagazinesThe YCHS Media Center has approximately 50 current periodicals available for student use.
These include Bride, Business Week, Cycle World, Field and Stream, Four Wheel Activatior, Glamour, Jet, Newsweek, Parents, Sandlapper, and Time. Access to magazines through DISCUS (funded by the state) is also available and greatly used.
