My name is Christina Labbe and I am returning to South Carolina after having been in Maine for family the last several years. I have taught third, fourth, and fifth grades as well as have been a principal and interventionist. Reading, crafting, baking, and spending time with my family are some of my favorite things. I am anxious to begin the year and get to know you so we can learn and grow together.

Hi, I am Mrs. Elliott. I am from York, SC and have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Winthrop University. The 2022-2023 school year begins my 28th year of teaching. I enjoy reading and "glamping" (camping) with my husband of almost 28 years. We have 2 sons -- Joseph and William -- and a spoiled dog named Max. My favorite book is Make Way for Ducklings by Robert McCloskey. I am excited to be a part of the Jefferson community. I look forward to building relationships and continuing my journey as an educator. I wish for my students to strive to be their best. I want them to believe in themselves and know that every day is a new start.

Hello! I am from Hartford, CT. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Corrective and Remedial Language Arts. I have 2 children-- Emily and Sean-- and 2 pups named Opie and Sugar Cookie. I love reading, camping, and spending time with my family and friends. My favorite book is Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? It is also my 2 children's favorite book. My wish for my students is to establish strong, positive relationships and that they will all feel safe, heard, and valued. I look forward to being a part of the JES community with my family.

Hello all! My name is Amanda Heckert, and I will be teaching 3rd grade this school year. I am from Fort Mill, South Carolina. I graduated from USC Upstate with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and from Gardner Webb with a Master's in curriculum and instruction. I have previously taught in Chester County for 5 years. In my spare time I enjoy reading and spending time with my family and pets.
