The following update was sent via email and SMS text to all district parents on October 13, 2020:
As you know, we have been reevaluating our Reopening Plan to determining what changes can be made to safely increase the amount of face-to-face instruction time for our students.
Please take 3 minutes to view an important message about Phase 2 of our Reopening Plan, to begin October 26, 2020.
October 13 School Reopening Update
On October 26, 2020, we will resume 5 days per week face-to-face instruction for all students in grades Prekindergarten through 6th grade.
Grades 7 through 12 will remain at the current level of face-to-face instruction as we study our operational model to determine what changes can be made without negatively impacting the instructional program. We will continue to study these grades and consider changes.
Please continue to do your part in the community to stop the spread of the virus so we can continue to provide face-to-face instruction to our students.
Sincerely,
Kelly S. Coxe
Superintendent
York School District One
