The following was sent to parents and staff via email on December 13, 2021.
York School District One offers COVID-19 testing for students and staff who exhibit COVID-19 symptoms or who are quarantined from school due to close contact and require a test for early return. COVID-19 tests will be administered to eligible students and staff Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 12:00 noon, then again from 1:00—3:30 at York Comprehensive High School (275 East Alexander Love Highway, York, South Carolina). Please review the information below regarding testing eligibility and procedures.
• Must be a current York School District One student or staff member.
• Testing is only available for individuals who exhibit COVID-19 symptoms or who are quarantined from school due to close contact and require a test for early return.
Pre-registration is requested, using the following link: http://www.york.k12.sc.us/covidtest
A BINAX-NOW test will be administered. Results will be available within a short period of time.
Test will be administered in a drive-up manner. Individuals will remain in their car and drive away after the test administration. The test site is York Comprehensive High School, 275 East Alexander Love Highway, York, SC 29745. Pull up to the front of the school under the clock and park near the flag pole and front door.
