The following was sent to parents and staff on November 9, 2021.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
York School District One is currently investigating options to hold a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic for YSD1 students, making the vaccine available to interested students ages 5 and up, as well as their parents. The clinic location is undecided but would be on a school campus in the district. Parents would be responsible for transporting their child to the clinic and being present during the vaccine administration. As we explore these options we would like to gauge interest to determine the scale of the clinic needed. If you are interested in your child receiving a COVID-19 vaccine at a YSD1-based vaccination clinic, please complete the interest survey at this link. This is simply an interest survey and would not commit you or your child to receive a vaccination. Once a clinic date is arranged, we will contact you with further information.
For further information about the COVID-19 vaccine, please visit the South Carolina DHEC website at https://scdhec.gov/covid19 and look for the Vaccines section or review the attached document from the Federal Drug Administration.
