My name is Kimberly Dover and I have taught at Cotton Belt since 2006. I have taught 2^nd and 3^rd grades here, but I have been teaching 2^nd grade since 2015. Prior to 2006, I taught second grade at Grassy Pond Elementary in Gaffney, SC, as well as 2^nd and 3^rd grades at Independence Elementary in Rock Hill, SC. I love second grade and everything about it! I enjoy watching the many milestones my students reach and the independence they gain throughout the year. It’s truly a year of growth as I help them to get ready for 3^rd grade! 

I live in York with my husband and 2 children. I enjoy drinking coffee, reading, shopping, and going to the beach. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

My name is Mr. Solomon Eagles, Jr. Born into a military family in North Carolina, I consider myself a native of Myrtle Beach, SC where I attended all my schooling. I currently reside in Fort Mill, SC and am proud to be a part of the CBES family since 2017, teaching 2^nd grade. I began my educational career at Charleston Southern University, then transferred to Winthrop University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Post undergraduate, I attended Gardner-Webb University receiving a Master of Arts degree in Teacher Leadership with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction. While at CBES I was named the Teacher of the Year for the 2020-2021 school year. What an honor! Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I believe it takes a strong individual to love, teach, nurture, and shape the minds of the future. I couldn’t see myself teaching anywhere other than York School District One at Cotton Belt Elementary School!!!! GO COUGARS! 

My name is Brandy Maurer and I have taught 4K through Second grade since I began my teaching career in 2003. I have taught at Cotton Belt since 2017. Since being at Cotton Belt I have taught 4K, 5K, and Second grade.  Prior to that year, I taught Kindergarten at Winget Park in Steele Creek for 3 years. I also taught for ten years at Forest Heights in Gastonia.  While there I taught 4K, 5k, First grade, and Second grade. I love Second grade! 

I live in Clover with my husband Matt and 3 children Abigail (16), Olivia (14), and Carson (12).    I enjoy reading, shopping and watching my children in their many sports they play.  We do a lot of traveling for soccer! I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

My name is Brittany Wright. I have been teaching at Cotton Belt Elementary since January 2022.

I was born and raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina. I am a dog mom to a Yorkipoo named Gabby. I am a huge Carolina Panther fan and love going to their home games!  I love to travel every chance I get. I also love a good craft project.

I graduated from Winthrop University in December of 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I had the opportunity to intern in many schools during my 4 years of college, but there is something about York that keeps me coming back. I am excited to start my teaching career at Cotton Belt!
