Jefferson Elementary is an amazing school!  I began my teaching career here in 2004 as a 5^th grade teacher.  I have also taught 3^rd grade, but I LOVE teaching fourth graders!  My husband and I live in York.  Together we have 3 children (teenagers).  We have a senior lab and 2 cats who adopted us as their family two years ago.  My husband and I are local beekeepers, and  currently we have 5 hives.  During my “free” time, I enjoy reading nonfiction books, watching our bees, and playing with our four legged fur babies.

Lives in McConnells, SC with family. Received BA degree from Johnson C. Smith University, Charlotte, NC and holds a MS degree in Elementary Education from Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC. She is National Board Certified as a Middle Generalist. She has been in the teaching profession for 32 years and has enjoyed the art of teaching.

Mrs. Lowry likes to cook, shop and listen to gospel music. She even likes to do aerobics and dance!

I am excited to be teaching fourth grade at Jefferson Elementary this year! I graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Elementary Education, and I look forward to continuing to learn with my students throughout their time in fourth grade. I love to read, so sharing books with my students is one of my favorite parts of my day!

I am originally from Pennsylvania. I have lived and taught in Pennsylvania, Louisiana, and South Carolina. My husband and I have two dogs, Sirius Black and Kirby. I have many interests, but some of my favorites are reading, watching movies, spending time with my husband and dogs, baking, cooking, solving puzzles, and enjoying nature.
