Hello,
My name is Moriah Hutchison. A lot of my former students still know me by and call me "Mrs. Ginn". Marriage changes things, in the best way.
I am originally a Georgia peach, but I have lived in South Carolina most of my life. I have always known that I would work with children in some capacity, and I feel that teaching is my calling. I received my BS in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University. I have taught 1st Grade, 4K, and Kindergarten. When I'm not at school, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and trying new things! I love all things Disney and Marvel. I relate to the students because I feel like I'm still a kid at heart. I am so thrilled to be at Jefferson with some incredible staff and students!

I am a native of York, South Carolina. I have been married for 10 years and have a five year old son attending Kindergarten at Jefferson Elementary. My professional experiences include working as both a medical office assistant and as an administrative support in the legal field. Most recently I have been a 3k teacher's assistant in Rock Hill, SC. Having the opportunity to help teach and grow young minds has been so rewarding to me in many ways and I am honored and excited to be a part of the Jefferson Elementary family. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, reading, hiking trails and exploring nature with my family.

Hi, my name is Lynn Shannon. I have been a Kindergarten teacher’s assistant and Special Education assistant at Jefferson Elementary for 17 years. One of my passions has always been to work with people in general, especially children. It’s exciting to watch children that you’ve helped to mold their little minds graduate from high school and go out into the world as young adults. I have one son, Cameron, who graduated from York in 2018. He is now a student athlete at Clinton College. Although working with children is one of my passions, my biggest passion is watching Cameron out there on the basketball court.

I’m so happy to be joining Mrs. Hutchison at Jefferson. It’s going to be an exciting year. I was born and raised in York, South Carolina. I have taught 4K for 6 years. It makes my heart happy to see their smiling faces. When not at school, I spend my time with my family. I have two boys—Mitchell and Carson. We spend most weekends attending all the sports the boys are in.

My name is Karrie Sheridan and I am a Kindergarten teacher. This is my 5th year teaching at Jefferson. Prior to coming to teach at Jefferson, I spent 16 years teaching Pre-K in Illinois. I have 2 children, Tanner who is 15 and Grace who is 12. We like playing cards and games as well as watching movies. I am originally from Illinois and a lot of my family still live there. I have 2 brothers, one older and one younger. I also have 2 adorable nieces who are 5 and 3. I love teach young children. Outside of school, I like to hike, read, watch movies, and play cards/games.
