Media Inquiries

All requests for media coverage should come through the Communications Office. The Public Information Officer will coordinate all media coverage and determine the best spokesperson for the district.

Media Release Photography/Videography

The purpose of a media release is to provide legal permission for the use of an individual's image, voice, or likeness in various forms of media. 

Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Request

All requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) must be submitted in writing via US Mail or email to York County School District One.  

All Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to York County School District One are subject to a fee. A reasonable fee not to exceed the actual cost will be charged for the search, retrieval, and when appropriate, redaction of records produced in response to a request for public records under the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act ("FOIA").
