Notification and Publicity Methods

York School District 1 uses several notification systems for parents, staff, and community members.

ParentSquare is our primary platform for school and classroom-level communications. Families receive messages through email, app, voice, or text, helping everyone stay informed and involved.

PowerSchool is the student information system which records student grades and attendance and allows parents to subscribe to notifications via email and mobile apps.

Canvas permits teachers and students to communicate within the learning management software.
