Kevin Queen, Daphne’s direct supervisor stated “Daphne McNeely is a true example of a Multiplier. She always gives more than is expected, often working on her "own time" to make the Department successful. She serves the district officially as our Routing Coordinator, but she does so much more. She challenges me to be better at my work and does the "little things" such as giving handwritten notes of thanks and encouragement to not only transportation employees but all other employees in the district. Daphne has a servant's heart and often reminds us that our work is in a mission field where we can make a difference each day in our students' lives. It is an honor and blessing to have Daphne McNeely as my right hand. Without her work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to go above and beyond her job description, the transportation department could not have such success. Her love for YSD1 is evident and contagious. We are very fortunate to have her on the Team as a Multiplier!”
Megan Hoyt, Andrena’s principal, stated “Andrena Figueroa exemplifies the characteristics of a Multiplier. While her title is school counselor, she thoughtfully and intentionally reaches far beyond her role each and every day at Cotton Belt Elementary School. Without a doubt, Ms. Figueroa is here for students - to bring out the best in them, to nurture confidence and a belief in themselves, to encourage them, and to do whatever it takes to ensure they feel safe and loved while here with us. She is a calm voice, a strong advocate, and a valued thought partner. Without fail, she leverages resources and community connections to proactively support and provide assistance to our families. In addition, she actively seeks solutions, thinks creatively, and goes above and beyond to help whenever she sees a need. She is so special to our students, staff, and families for so many reasons - but most importantly, because she loves us so well and gives her very best every day without ever expecting anything in return. Ms. Figueroa is truly a bright and positive light in our building and - although she is humble and never seeks credit - I would love to honor her for being an incredible difference maker and a multiplier.”
Rebecca Dover, Tina’s principal, stated “It is with great pleasure that I submit this letter of recommendation for the Multipliers Award highlighting Mrs. Tina Davis, administrative secretary. She is our first impression, our siri, and front office cheerleader to all that walk through the doors! Mrs. Davis has dedicated her service to Hickory Grove Sharon Elementary and York School District One for over sixteen years. She is the epitome of a servant leader. Mrs. Davis is dedicated to serving and leading her peers, colleagues, students, and families! She is always up for the challenge of taking care of school operations, answering phones, operating the office flow of work, and giving solid directions and advice to all that walk through the doors. She assists our teachers, staff, and children with love and care daily. Mrs. Davis has extraordinary gifts for collaborating, serving, and caring for her community. You will often find Mrs. Davis supporting her colleagues and students after school hours at games, concerts, church, and other venues. She cares greatly about everyone that walks across her path. Mrs. Davis leads our HGSES fundraising committee in order to give back to our community. We have served numerous groups such as Veteran’s, nursing homes, families, and the list goes on. Mrs. Davis is also the lead volunteer for Operation Christmas Child here within our community. Recently, her OCC collection site collected over 2100 shoe boxes to be shipped all over the world! Her contributions to our school family are immeasurable. She is an outstanding member of our school community and district! Mrs. Tina Davis is very deserving of the Multipliers Award.”
