Middle (7-8) Assessments

SC READY/SCPASS

The South Carolina College-and Career-Ready Assessments (SC READY) program is a statewide assessment in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics administered to students in Grades 3–8.  The South Carolina Palmetto Assessment of State Standards (SCPASS) is a statewide assessment program in Science and Social Studies for students in elementary and middle school.  For the 2020-2021 SY, the SCPASS program will assesses Science in Grade 4 and Grade 6.

EOCEP

The End-of-Course Examination Program (EOCEP) is a statewide assessment program of end-of-course tests for gateway courses awarded units of credit in English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.  EOCEP are administered in the last twenty-days of each semester as determined by the district instructional calendar to students enrolled in Algebra 1, Intermediate Algebra, Biology 1, English 1, English 2, and United States History and the Constitution.
