My name is Jennifer Brown and I have been a third grade teacher at Hunter Street since 2003.  Prior to teaching at Hunter Street, I taught for 6 years in North Carolina.  I graduated from Radford University in Virginia.  I live in York with my 2 sons and 2 dogs.  The beach is my happy place and I love going whenever I have the chance.    My favorite color is purple, I love to eat pineapples, and I enjoy hiking Crowder’s Mountain.  Hunter Street is a great place to be because the students are amazing and always willing to put forth the extra effort.  My work family inspires me to be the best I can each and every day.    Go Hunter Street Huskies!

My name is Lauren Culton and I am so excited to join the Husky family this year as a Third grade teacher! I received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from USC Upstate in 2013. I have taught Kindergarten, First grade, and Second grade. This will be my 10^th year as an educator and I am so excited for this new adventure in Third grade. I was born and raised in Rock Hill, SC. I married my amazing husband Ethan in May of 2022. We love spending time with our family, friends, and our sweet fur baby Tucker. You will usually find us on the lake or relaxing by the ocean. I am looking forward to a fabulous and exciting school year. I am ready to introduce your child to a year filled with wonder and learning.

Hello!  My name is Kathy Sandifer. I was born in Concord, NC where I lived until I was 8 years old.  I moved to York, SC when my mom remarried.  I graduated from York Comprehensive High School in 1992.  I majored in Elementary Education and graduated in 1996 from Winthrop University.  I began teaching is September 1996 in Third Grade here at Hunter Street Elementary.  I have now been teaching Third Grade at HSES for the past 25 years and still absolutely LOVE it!  I received a Masters of Education in Early Childhood from USC in 1999.  My husband Trey and I married in 1997.  We have 4 wonderful children- Weston (age 23), Hayden (age 20), Elleigh (age 16), and Bennett (age 9).  I love to read and enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  My favorite place to visit is the beach.  I enjoy watching movies and going shopping.  I am so proud to be a Hunter Street Husky!

Hello, my name is Dalynn Wallace. I was born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on December 25th! I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a young child. I have been teaching at Hunter Street for 8 years. I have taught many grade levels! I taught 1st grade for four years, 2nd grade for two years, and this is my second year in 3rd grade! I am excited to work with your child this school year.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Winthrop University in Early Childhood education.  I earned my Master’s degree from Clemson University in Teaching and Learning with a specialization in Instructional Coaching. I love spending my extra time playing with my two dogs Snickers and Kuji. They enjoy playing outside, taking walks, and napping! I also enjoy hiking, being outdoors, and shopping.
