My name is Kathryn Burt. I am from Rock Hill, SC. I graduated from South Pointe High School. I received my Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Winthrop University. I have a master’s degree in mathematics from Western Governors University. I’m excited to meet my new students and families!

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I love the outdoors. We enjoys watching our son explore and grow. He is very active and keeps us laughing. As a family we spend time together at the lake, or somewhere in the mountains!

My name is Martha Felske and I was born in Indiana but lived most of my life in Florida. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education K-6 from the University of Central Florida in 2017. My family and I recently relocated to the York area, and I am so excited to be teaching at HCJ!

When I am not teaching, I am with my little family. My husband and I love to travel and spend time with our family. We have four children (Brian, Evangeline, Carter, and Mason) and we are always up to something new.

My name is Aubrey Watson. I started teaching in 2016. I taught second grade at Jefferson Elementary for four years, but I am so excited to be  at HCJ. My husband, Karl, and I live with our daughter, Palmer,  in Fort Mill, where I am originally from. I took a year off from teaching to stay home with my baby girl, but I am loving being back in the classroom. I love building relationships with my kids and their families. In my free time, I enjoy working out, spending time with my family (usually outside), going to church, and working out.

My name is Haley Whitesides. I love teaching at Harold C. Johnson! I graduated from Winthrop University in May 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. As a York native, I have always had a love for HCJ and love staying within our small-town community. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Ethan, and our two children, Bowen and Lacey. I also love shopping and taking vacations to the beach. I am thrilled to teach 3^rd grade and love creating a family within our classroom every year.
