Cheyenne Hoy (working in Ms Roberts' class)

My name is Cheyenne Hoy. I am from Clover, SC. I graduated from Clover High School in 2016. This my last semester at Winthrop! I am very excited to begin this interesting school year! I look forward to learning and growing as a teacher!

In my spare time, when the weather is nice, I like hiking at Crowders Mountain. I also spend a lot of time coaching voluntarily for the little league cheer team called D2. I cheered in high school, so that is very near and dear to my heart.

I am working on my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, and I have a Minor in Coaching.

Ke'uana Mapp (working in Ms Fowler's class)

My name is Ke’uana Mapp and I was born and raised in Seneca, South Carolina. I attend Winthrop University where I am currently studying Early Childhood Education. I have been in the classroom for many years working with students from pre-kindergarten to fifth-grade.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, working at TJ Maxx, and spending time with friends and family. I am the oldest of nine siblings, so I have always been the one to teach others and now it has become my passion to do so. I am in a sorority, therefore I really love spending time with my sisters, volunteering, and being active on campus.

I am so glad to be here at Harold C. Johnson Elementary School and I am looking forward to a great school year.

My name is Brianna Pimentel. I am originally from Ohio, living there for 10 years before moving
to South Carolina 11 years ago. I graduated from Cane Bay High School in 2017 in Summerville, South
Carolina. I am currently completing my last two semesters at Winthrop University. I am studying to earn
a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. In my time at Winthrop, I have practiced and
gained experience teaching from many schools and classrooms in grades Kindergarten to 5th
.
In my spare time, I love to practice my ukulele and sing. When I get the chance to travel, I love
to ride my motorcycle in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee. Other things I enjoy are
watching scary movies and T.V. shows on the couch with pets. I am very family oriented because I part
of a large family of all ages—which has also given me further experience in working with all age groups.

Thank you for welcoming me into this great school. I am honored to have the opportunity to
come to Harold C. Johnson Elementary School and beyond excited to learn and teach this school year. I
look forward to working with all of you!
