My name is Madison Blackwell and I am an Elementary Education major at Winthrop. Upon graduation, I will have dual certification in both early childhood and elementary education. I am originally from Greenville, South Carolina. However, up until last year, I lived in Walterboro, South Carolina (about 45 miles from Charleston) where I graduated from Colleton County High School. Because I have lived so close to the ocean, I go to Edisto Beach as much as I can. I have known since I was a little girl that I wanted to teach someday. I feel that it is an immense responsibility and honor to be able to help mold the future of our world. I am excited to learn as much as I possibly can about the education profession. I am even more thrilled to be able to learn here at Harold C. Johnson Elementary, with Mrs. Quinn!

My name is Jasmine Luna. I am an Intern who is in Mrs. Mizwa's Fourth Grade class this year. I am currently a Senior Elementary Education Major at Winthrop University, and I graduate in May 2019. I am excited to be placed at Harold C. Johnson for my internship and can't wait to see what the year holds!

I am from a small town in South Carolina called Walhalla (near the Clemson area) which is about two and a half hours away from Rock Hill. Once graduated, I plan to stay around the area and hopefully teach in any of the York County School Districts. During my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, watching Spanish soap operas, shopping, and going on adventures.
