November 23 and 24 will serve as Practice Remote Learning Days for all students in York School District One. Students will not report to school on these two days. Teachers and staff will be present and will provide remote instruction and resources to students. These two days will allow us to practice remote instruction in an intentional manner as well as appropriately contact trace for COVID-19 to inform families of any potential exposures before gathering with families and friends over the Thanksgiving holiday. In the coming days, you will receive additional information from your child’s school and teachers regarding specific details related to these two days.
To support you and your child during this time, we have a number of parent resources available at www.york.k12.sc.us/remoteresources. Parents are encouraged to create Observer accounts in Canvas to stay up to date with their child's online classwork, learn more about ClassLink, and communicate with your child’s teacher to best prepare for the Practice Remote Learning Days on November 23 and 24.
