On Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 YSD1 held our 2023-2024 Convocation Open Ceremony for all district staff where David Frintner was named District Teacher of the Year.  Mr. Frintner teaches history at York Comprehensive High School and shared that "when your job and your passion are the same thing, it's a great combination." Staff also had the opportunity to hear from motivational speaker Denise Ryan which included a chocolate tasting to demonstrate not only how to appreciate chocolate, but life itself.
